So I have just recently read an article about a McDonald's employee being stripped searched. I saw the video, and I was a bit amazed that all of this happened. When I worked in security for the Department of Mental Health, as well as private security; we were never permitted to do any strip searches. There had to be a doctor present, or the person confined in a hospital setting. Granted, I saw everything when I work in security at the Department of Mental Health; but never did I do any strip searches, even though I knew where patients would hide contraband on their person's. All cavity searches had to be performed by a physician, and under hospital settings. I guess McDonald's Restaurants do hire the intellectually challenged. What is more amazing is that they received a phone call from someone that claimed to be a police officer. Well DAAA, a police officer can not order you to do anything that is immoral, corrupt, or unethical, and especially on the phone. Besides, he has to be in your presence to give such orders; and he has to have reasonable cause and belief to do so. These people didn't even challenge the phone caller, how stupid is this. In a way, I agree with McDonald's because I don't think that they should be held accountable for the actions of others when common sense is necessary. I was really amazed that the manager that ordered the strip search won a million dollars because McDonald's failed to tell her of other incidents of the same thing. COMMON SENSE PEOPLE!!! I don't care if there were a million incidents that went un-reported, you don't do it because legally you have no right to do it. Not to mention that this was the second time this happened to this woman. Still, you have the right to say no when given an order that you deem is uncalled for, immoral, or out of your jurisdiction to do so. The things that were not even considered were: 1) how do you know that the woman stole the purse? and 2) how do you know that the caller was a cop? If this wasn't bad enough, they spanked her. It kind of makes me wonder if this wasn't a setup in some way. Maybe they were all part of this so they could get money, knowing that McDonald's would rather settle out of court in order to avoid long drawn out court hearings that would cost thousands of dollars. You know that people do do this, and have done so in the past. At the state hospital I knew a technician that had another technician break his nose just so he could get $15,000 from the state by telling state officials that a patient broke his nose. I'm not accusing anybody here, but it just seems to me that in this case common sense didn't come into play. This kind of reminds me of the church, and all the problems that we have there. Is it possible that the church could be going worldly, not listening to God, or that it just doesn't believe what the word of God says. We hear about all of the problems within the family, but we fail to realize that all governments begin with the family. The Bible says, "Train up a youth, in the direction of his duty, Even when he becometh old he will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6). So please explain to me why all these problems with children occur, and why we need Midrif/Meyer New Life Clinic. Isn't the Word of God sufficient? Isn't Psychology and Psychiatry anti-Christian/pagan religions? Actually they are. Freud started them because of his hate for Christianity. Also, you must remember that Freud was a jew, and the jewish Talmud calls Jesus Christ a bastard. So why do we use jewish concepts and idea's, and support the jews when they hate God and Jesus Christ. There is something really amazing about this. By our own actions we call Jesus Christ a liar (by saying things like nobody's perfect), and we don't listen to what God is telling us. The McDonald's incident seems to be happening in the church all the time. We think that God is in charge, and that God is in control; but is he really? I think we must remember that we must bring God into our lives. That is actually what happens when you get saved. I think that it is not only necessary to invite God into our lives, but to also hold true to his word, and listen to what he has to say. One time I called up Midrif/Meyer New Life Clinic and asked to speak to a councellor. I was given a phone number to call. I made the phone call, and found myself calling California. The person on the phone couldn't understand why I was refered to the clinic in California when I live in Illinois. He gave me a phone number in Illinois to call. I called that number and I was then given a number to a Psychologist. When I called her she was just nasty, and told me that she didn't know who Midrif/Meyer New Life Clinic was. I told her that they referred me to her, but she denied ever dealing with them; or knowing who they were. I told her that I guess that this was demonic, and she told me that that's right; and hung up on me. This was my little experience with Midrif/Meyer New Life Clinic. I just wonder how stupid people can get, and it makes me realize how God is so frutstrated with that stupidity. We cannot expect God to lead us by the hand people. Sometimes we actually have to stand up for ourselves, and use the common sense that God has given us. Jesus Christ said that he didn't come to change the law, but to fulfill it. He put the law within our own being upon salvation. That means that you have to work with that law; and the only way you can do that is to stand up for yourself (Matt. 5:48), and to study to show yourself approved; "Give diligence thyself approved to present unto God, a workman not to be put to shame, Skilfully handling the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15).
